Upon its 1 June 2026 release, set 11377 Minas Tirith will face a dual siege: hoards of eager LEGO® fans, and the dark forces of Mordor, in the form of the 40893 Grond Gift with Purchase (GwP). 

While falling somewhat short of Tolkien's described scale of a hundred feet, I was nevertheless excited to take a look at the set, and see whether it would manage to batter its way into my heart.

Black Friday / Cyber Monday LEGO® GwP and deals

Black Friday began at midnight 28 November 2025 and the good news is that if you missed out on the two larger Gifts with Purchase (GwP) last week, they're back again! The smaller GwP has been replaced with a rather cool deck of LEGO playing cards, and there's a new LEGO Insiders reward in the shape of 5009626 Fish Tank. The price reductions that began last week continue, and there have also been lower prices on individual bricks at Pick a Brick for a couple of weeks now. 

Note also the LEGO Insiders offer of 1000 points in exchange for just 200! These appear to be limited in number as they are selling out in some countries already. The instructions on the LEGO site apparently give an incorrect URL for redemption – see the comments on this post from our helpful, faithful readers!

Review: LEGO® 40775 Mini Knight's Castle gift with purchase

Following its initial availability over LEGO® Insiders Weekend, the Gift with Purchase (GwP) 40775 Mini Knight's Castle. will return for the Black Friday / Cyber Monday long weekend and be available to all shoppers, rather than just LEGO Insiders. 

Yes, it comes at the shockingly high threshold of 250€/ $250/ £225/ AU$410, which is out of reach for many people. However, if you intend spending that amount on LEGO sets and/or Pick a Brick parts in the near future, and you love classic sets or microscale architecture, or just any great GwP – this comes highly recommended. I think it is just exquisite.
