The launch of this massive Ultimate Car Concept Series model is accompanied by an exclusive Gift with Purchase (GwP), only the second ever to be tied to a LEGO® Technic set. With 228 parts, 40894 Koenigsegg Sadair's Spear Steering Wheel manages to pack some neat functions and elements.

LEGO sets and their GwPs
In recent years, more and more large sets have come with a GwP specific to that set, often only available in the first week of launch of the set. Some complement the set, like 40893 The Lord of the Rings™ – Grond (review by Ben) breaking down the gates of 11377 Minas Tirith (also reviewed by Ben). Others feature a separate build in the same theme, like 40768 Star Trek: Type-15 Shuttlepod (reviewed by Kevin) which came with set 10356 Star Trek: U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D (see Kevin's review).
For the LEGO Technic theme, there has been only 2 such sets: 6535735 McLaren P1 Logo to accompany 2024’s Ultimate Car Concept Series set 42172 McLaren P1 (see Alex's review), and now, 40894 Koenigsegg Sadair's Spear Steering Wheel. Let's take it for a spin!
New elements
The set comes with some new elements, but none are exclusive to this set, as they will also be found in 42232 Koenigsegg Sadair's Spear Megacar. However, the GwP has its own exclusive sticker sheet.

The steering wheel comes with a nice function to show off the new stepper gear. More details on the new LEGO stepper gear mold can be found in my review of the parts in the Sadair's Spear Megacar, and at the end of this review I’ve added a video to show it in action.

The model
Behind the wheel itself we find a mechanism utilizing the new stepper gear. Pushing the paddles lets the yellow connectors push the stepper gear a single step, which is kept lined up using a Technic ball. That ball is not visible here, but can be seen in the video later on.
Via some knob wheels, the stepper gear rotates a disc on the steering wheel, indicating the selected gear. Here, we also find the speedometer.
The speedometer is connected to beams at the back of the model. As the steering wheel steers, these beams move along, rotating the speedometer in the opposite direction. This results in the speedometer always sitting level, no matter the position of the steering wheel.

Conclusion
For a LEGO Technic set this size, the designers managed to incorporate some clever tricks. If I were a cynic, I would point out that larger LEGO Technic cars often have less-impressive functions…
I can appreciate this GwP not containing any unique parts, but what with them also appearing in the big Koenigsegg set I expect them (at least the non-printed ones) to appear on Pick a Brick. This is usually 4 months after the release of the set, however LEGO Technic sets can take longer. This means that the best case scenario is November, but possibly not until early 2027. Hopefully the stepper gear will come in anpother set sooner, so you might be able to build your own version without breaking the bank too much.
Overall, I find this a decent addition to the Koeningsegg set as well as a great LEGO Technic model in its own right.
