Revealed: 21368 Peanuts – Snoopy's Doghouse from LEGO® Ideas available to pre-order

"IIIIIIIIIIIIIII!" Yes, Woodstock joins Snoopy in an upcoming LEGO® Ideas set, 21368 Peanuts: Snoopy's Doghouse. This is based upon the submission by bossofdos64, which was a much smaller concept that did not include the kennel. Good grief!

Review & Mod: 31166 Beautiful Horse from LEGO® Creator 3-in-1

LEGO® Creator 3-in-1 animal sets are praised among adult hobbyists. They have decent value for money and focus on the actual built models – with the extra design challenge of three alternative models from one selection of pieces. Today I'm looking at a sleeper hit from August 2025, 31166 Beautiful Horse, and making my own modification to improve it. It was designed by Aaron Newman, whose 76344 Iron Man Mark 3 Collectors' Edition I took a good look at recently, proving that he can shape humans too. But now, giddy up!

Review: 21366 Floating Sea Otters from LEGO® Ideas

The next LEGO® Ideas set takes us back to nature: 21366 Floating Sea Otters is available to pre-order now and releases from 1 March 2026.

With a mother otter floating on her back, and the option to cradle her baby or prioritise a snack over being maternal. Yes that is a otter pup and not a chunky otter with a large belly. Let's see if this set otters something for New Elementary readers...

Review: 75452 BB-8™ Astromech Droid from LEGO® Star Wars™

It has been ten years since Star Wars™ Episode VII: The Force Awakens was released and we were introduced to BB-8™. In my opinion, the little rolling droid was one of the stand-out features of that first film of the Disney era. Love or hate the sequel trilogy, I think it's difficult to deny that BB-8 is one of its successes.

BB-8 joins the (unofficial) sub-theme of LEGO® Star Wars droids: sets 75379 R2-D2, 75398 C-3PO, 75434 K-2SO, 75416 Chopper, 75381 Droideka and 75428 Battle Droid with STAP have all been released within the last two years.

LEGO has made BB-8 at this sort of scale before; the now-retired 75187 BB-8™ from 2017 was built in a more traditional "stepped and studs showing" way. This new interpretation looks like it takes an interesting approach to the construction of some difficult forms.

Reveal: 31220 Claude Monet – Bridge over a Pond of Water Lilies from LEGO® Art

The next LEGO® Art set has been revealed, and it's a stunner in terms of looks – and recoloured pieces! The LEGO Group have this time collaborated with New York City gallery The Metropolitan Museum of Art (The Met) to create set 31220 Claude Monet – Bridge over a Pond of Water Lilies. , available from 1 March 2026 for LEGO® Insiders.

Review: 910061 Antique Collection from BrickLink Designer Program

The BrickLink Designer Program requires that models use a fixed palette of elements, all already in production. Since New Elementary focusses on new elements, we haven’t really paid attention to the program. But with the 7th series announced, once again filled with sets designed by LEGO fans, one model in particular caught our eye! 

Review and designer insight: 42221 NASA Artemis Space Launch System Rocket from LEGO® Technic

NASA and The LEGO Group have partnered up many times before, and this time LEGO® Technic has been chosen to launch us into outer space with set 42221 NASA Artemis Space Launch System Rocket. The timing is perfect, as the real-life rocket is launching in early 2026 – but as at time of publishing, it is due to launch in March following a hydrogen leak during the February dress rehearsal.

Review: 42691 Garden Restaurant from LEGO® Friends

When the LEGO® Friends 2026 sets were first revealed, one in particular caught my eye. 42691 Garden Restaurant seemed to be a standout in terms of the building style as well as showcasing the new 430 Warm Pink colour.

Although we have already written two articles about the 2026 LEGO Friends sets – new moulds review and overview and recolours – we wanted to look in more detail at this beautiful set inspired by North African architecture.

New moulds in January 2026 LEGO® City sets

January might be done, but we're not done with our coverage of January 2026 LEGO® City sets! 

 

We previously looked at all the recolours and new printed elements that appear in the latest wave of sets in our overview and recolours article, and we spoke with Design Manager at The LEGO Group Christopher Leslie Stamp about some of the new elements that feature in the new sets. Now it's time to for a hands-on review of the 14 new moulds that appear in the wave of sets.

LEGO® Pick a Brick: new elements for February 2026 – and price changes

The LEGO® Pick a Brick service (PaB) have just added about 113 new parts today, Tuesday 3 February 2026 (including the bright green astronaut pieces!). Almost all of them were added at 4am UTC/11pm EST.

As usual we have turned the list in advance from the team into a categorised visual list to help you order. Be aware the list may contain errors in terms of parts that did not get added, or might not include parts that they did end up uploading.

EDIT! Unprinted black Clone pauldrons are also available, these were on some PaB walls last year but have never been in sets. This might explain why TLG have no image on PaB.

Review: 11510 Magnolia Branches and 11502 Sunflower Bouquet from LEGO® Botanicals

LEGO® Botanicals seem to be more popular than ever before. In January 2026, four sets saw the light of day (reviewed here by Tom), and set 11503 Flower Wall (reviewed by me) was released just two days ago. And today, I'm reviewing two sets that will be available next month. 

11510 Magnolia Branches and 11502 Sunflower Bouquet take the recipe that started this theme in 2021: flowers with their stalks or branches, and you use your own vases to display them. I've always liked this concept, as it means that all the parts are used for the plants themselves, leading to interesting parts packs.

Review: 43288 Sally's Flowerpot from LEGO® Disney™

There have been a few 'flowerpot' LEGO® sets already; 76784 Wednesday Black Dahlia, 43252 Moana's Flowerpot and 43237  Isabela's Flowerpot.  The next LEGO flowerpot to propagate is LEGO® Disney 43288 Sally's Flowerpot, available from 1 March 2026. Sally's Flowerpot appears to have a few new printed pieces and some blue violet pieces, so let's see what it has to offer element fans.

New moulds review: LEGO® Speed Champions January 2026 sets 77253, 77254 and 77257

We continue our analysis of the LEGO® Speed Champions January 2026 sets with a look at four exciting new moulds that can be found in sets 77253 Bugatti Vision GT Hyper Sports Car, 77254 Ferrari SF90 XX Stradale Sports Car and 77257 McLaren W1.

Review: 75440 AT-AT™ from LEGO® Star Wars™

The LEGO® Star Wars™ 75440 AT-AT™ is firmly aimed at the adult market. It says so on the product page on the LEGO website, twice. At least. So if you're a child: don't get any ideas, this is for adults!

The Starship Collection brings together iconic vehicles from the Star Wars universe at a shelf-friendly scale, with prices that feel more attainable than those of the Ultimate Collector Series. Set 75440 AT-AT fits in with this range of ships in a packaging and overall dimensions sense, but is not explicitly labelled as part of the collection. It deviates from the established range in class of vehicle perhaps, but nevertheless feels like it is part of that product range, and LEGO has described this as "complimentary" to other mid-scale models.

Revealed: 43019 Football from LEGO® Editions

LEGO® Editions are hoping to score big with the next set they are kicking out in March 2026. 43019 Football is an almost 1:1 scale model of the size 5 football ball used in official matches.

We've had a peek at the press release images to see if there are any new elements onside or if we should just clear the ball from inside the box. (There's more puns to come...)

Review: 71858 Four Weapons Blacksmith from LEGO® NINJAGO®

When LEGO® NINJAGO® first debuted in 2011, few would have guessed that the theme and associated television series would still be going strong 15 years later.

The theme has returned to its roots for this significant anniversary, providing us with a faithful rendition of the Four Weapons Blacksmith as it appeared at the start of the very first pilot episode, while taking advantage of the elements introduced in the last decade-and-a-half.

Revealed: Crocs™ x LEGO® Brick Clog

File under: Well, I wasn't expecting that.

Despite seeming like a wonderful April Fool's Day joke that's come early, it is actually true: Crocs™ are doing collabs with The LEGO Group. Finally, for the price of US$149.99, you can step in a LEGO brick instead of stepping on one.

Review: 11503 Flower Wall from LEGO® Botanicals

At New Elementary, we like LEGO® Botanicals, as they frequently offer us sweet recolours to feature. 11503 Flower Wall has a whopping 25 recolours, totalling about 300 pieces of the 879 in the set. That's a lot! The set also makes a compelling arrangement, and features two new LEGO colours. 

Customers seem to like the theme too, as it pumps out goodies all the time. Didn't we only just enjoy Tom's analysis of the new parts in the LEGO Botanicals January line-up? The flowering never ends.

Dog lovers (and Tan lovers), here's one for you! LEGO® Icons set 11384 Golden Retriever Puppy is coming on 1 February 2026 and stands 30cm (11.5 inches) high, ruffly speaking. This poseable pooch can be positioned in many cute stances and even has a spare tongue, when panting is required!

Pre-order: 77093 Ocarina of Time™ – The Final Battle from LEGO® The Legend of Zelda™

The second LEGO® The Legend of Zelda™ set has just been officially revealed, and is available for pre-order now in advance of its release on 1 March 2026!

As the name suggests, it depicts the epic final battle that takes place in the 1998 game Ocarina of Time™, when Link and Zelda – having confronted the evil Ganondorf and destroyed his castle – are surprised when Ganandorf leaps from the rubble and transforms into his true form, the ultimate villain Ganon (who appears in brick-built form in this set).

Pre-order 3 LEGO® Pokémon sets, plus Gift with Purchase & Insider Reward revealed

Everyone has been waiting for this reveal, and it hasn't disappointed. The LEGO Group and The Pokémon Company International have just revealed the first fruits of their new partnership, in the form of three LEGO® Pokémon with the 18+ age mark, which are all available to pre-order now. They feature the popular characters Pikachu, Evee, Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise. 

Also revealed are an accompanying free gift with purchases of the largest set, plus a set that LEGO® Insiders in some countries can redeem for 2,500 points. 

Everything is released on 27 February 2026 globally – but it seems in Asia, the only country receiving these products is South Korea. (And Australia and New Zealand, if you count them as Asia.)

LEGO® Pick a Brick: new elements for January 2026, including Minifigure Vending Machine

LEGO® Pick a Brick have added new parts from September 2025 sets to the service, as well as the much-desired Minifigure Vending Machine figures!

On 5 January at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas, USA the LEGO Group revealed their new innovation which will premiere in three March LEGO® Star Wars™ sets.

New moulds review: LEGO® Friends January 2026 sets

The January 2026 wave of LEGO® Friends sets were revealed in early December 2025, and there's a lot of sets to look through.  We have already taken a look at some recolours in our article covering the New colours for 2026: 431 Blue Violet and 430 Warm Pink.

Now I will focus on all the new moulds included in the new sets including the animals and accessories, and a second post will look at all the recolours and new prints. A few of the new moulds are also found in other themes released on 1 January.

LEGO® City January 2026: overview and all recolours

Happy new year; happy new elements!

Earlier this month Tim provided us with a tantalizing preview of all the new elements coming in the January 2026 LEGO® City sets along with insight from Design Manager, Christopher Leslie Stamp. We now have the entire wave of 17 core sets for a hands-on review (excluding the somewhat incongruous Rides subtheme). We'll examine the new moulds more closely in a future article, but in the meantime, there are plenty of recoloured parts to explore.
