LEGO® Pick a Brick: August 2026 new elements

We have the advance list of 100 pieces that will be added to LEGO® Pick a Brick (PaB) on Tuesday 4 August 2026, so you can plan your purchases in advance. The included elements are from sets released in April, and include the return of LEGO monorail! Sort of.

The update should occur sometime in the morning hours European time 4 August, which is somewhere around midnight or the early hours US Eastern Time. 

As is typical, not all new elements from the sets are being added to PaB, usually because of licensing agreements.

Notable sets that these elements primarily come from are:

• 21367 Tintin Moon Rocket (see Elspeth's review of the LEGO Tintin set)
• 72050 Mario Kart – Luigi & Mach 8 (see Tom's review of the LEGO Luigi set)
• 11378 Douglas DC-3 PAN AM Airliner; just a few pieces
• 45520 Computer Science & AI Kit 1-2
• 45521 Computer Science & AI Kit 3-5
• 45522 Computer Science & AI Kit 7-10
• 45546 Computer Science & AI 3-5 Replacement Pack
• 45547 Computer Science & AI 6-8 Replacement Pack

Those final five sets are a surprising move, as these are LEGO® Education sets, only available to purchase via official resellers. It is wonderful we are being given the opportunity to purchase pieces from them, although I fear some prices may be eye-watering.

You may well be unfamiliar with what is inside these LEGO Education sets, but I can garner your interest with just one word: MONORAIL.

The three sets offer varying levels of difficulty for children in Years 1 through to 10. They include some nice recoloured elements as well as a family of gears, gearboxes and wheels that could be used for a monorail! Unfortunately, the colours of pieces are not uniform.

That coral 1x4 plate with little 1x1 feet sure is POOP, but clearly useful for locking plates down, same as stepped bows like the 1x4 'telephone' bow (93273) do.

We are excited by some of those recolours too. We will certainly be placing an order this month: 1x8 teal tiles at last, for printing our logo on!
