When the LEGO® Friends 2026 sets were first revealed, one in particular caught my eye. 42691 Garden Restaurant seemed to be a standout in terms of the building style as well as showcasing the new 430 Warm Pink colour.
Although we have already written two articles about the 2026 LEGO Friends sets – new moulds review and overview and recolours – we wanted to look in more detail at this beautiful set inspired by North African architecture.

What a beautiful set.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a Friends collector but I see that Lego has been going next level with its designs for this range over the last few years. I love to see it, as well as more of this subject matter. It's important!
If Lego keeps exploring the Maghreb, how long will it be before we get a set that crosses over into Star Wars territory? ;)
With the printed tiles from this and 10359, you could create a custom set of tiles for the Azul game: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/230802/azul
ReplyDeleteWe have that game! The scoring is a bit tricky I find but maybe it’s because I play with my 9 year old twins so we probably make mistakes!
DeleteAnd somebody has done just that: https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/forums/topic/212594-lego-azul/
DeleteIs this an exclusive set? I havent found any information claiming it is exclusive. But I also cannot find them for sale anywhere other than LEGO directly.
ReplyDeleteDisregard previous post. I somehow missed the standard LEGO "Exclusives" tag top right of page.. probably because I had hoped it wasn't so that I might acquire this set ASAP for a reduced price. Though it's a price point is reasonable, but when you must have so many sets they are priced too high. Lol
