Reveal: 11504 Peace Lily, 11508 Daisies & 11509 Flowering Cactus from LEGO® Botanicals

Posted by Thomas Jenkins

They say good things come in threes – and LEGO® Botanicals are proving it once again. Joining the freshly revealed 11501 Tulip Bouquet, three more new sets are ready to bloom in January 2026. Read on as we go element spotting in these new sets – including a useful new mold, and a new LEGO colour, too!

LEGO® designers reveal 3 sets

Here are 2 minutes of edited highlights from the reveal presentation at Fan Media Days in Denmark in September, given by creative lead Fiorella Groves accompanied by designers Theo Bonner and Lam Quang Phan.

Following last year's vibrant hibiscus, this potted peace lily brings a sense of tranquility to the botanical collection, but we are too excited – about the new elements it brings!

The flower's distinctive, petal-like single leaf is created with recoloured elements in 2 varieties, as well as a recoloured carrot for the spadex (which is the plant's actual flower) :
  • Plant, Leaf/Petal 4 x 6 x 1 1 / 3 (7096) in White
  • Plant, Leaf 2 x 6 x 1 with 2 Studs (3565) in White
  • Plant, Carrot (33172) in Bright Light Yellow

  • Pneumatic T-Piece (T Bar) [New Style] (4697b) in Bright Green
It's a wonder we haven't seen this element appear sooner in the LEGO Botanicals line – it seems like the perfect element to attach leaves to stalks.

LEGO Botanicals pots are often as interesting to construct as the flowers within them, and the peace lily is no exception, as we spot 2 new light nougat elements:
  • Brick Curved 2 x 4 Double, No Studs, with Groove (6192b) in Light Nougat
  • Brick Curved 1 x 1 (7126) in Light nougat

The smallest of the three sets to be revealed, 11508 Daisies features a bunch of the titular flower in various sizes, as well as three sprigs of lavender...

...which looks a little unusual to us. Is that a new lavender colour amongst that lavender?! This new purple shade – used for the wider elements in the stalk – appears to be a little darker and bluer than the medium lavender we are used to seeing.

Given that lavender hues already exist in the LEGO colour palette, we wonder what this new hue might be called. Bluish Violet would seem logical, but both TLG and BrickLink have named previous colours with a similar name, so perhaps something different will be used.

Now on to colours that we do recognize. We spot a recolor in the petals of the daisy as well as a new print for the 2 x 2 Round Tile:
  • Plant, Round 3 x 3 - 3 Leaves (7264) in White
  • 2x2 Round Tile with new print

11509 Flowering Cactus

The peace lily is not the only potted plant in the January 2026 wave of LEGO Botanicals sets: 11509 Blooming Cactus adds a bit of unexpected variety to the range. While small cactuses have appeared in both Succulents and Tiny Plants, this is the first LEGO Botanicals set to put the resilient succulent front and center – and with that spectacular pink bloom, this plant knows how to make an entrance!

Speaking of which, we see at least 3 new elements that have been recoloured to make that blossom:
  • Road Sign Clip-on 2.2 x 2.667 Triangular with Open O Clip (65676) in Dark Pink
  • Shield Triangular (3846) in Bright Pink
  • Crown / Flower / Egg Shell Half (39262) in Sand Green

There looks to be an interesting new element hiding under the blossoms of the smaller flower...

...and this image provides a better look at what appears to be a new steering wheel element, in sand green. This tiny circle with a 3.18mm bar will be spectacularly useful!

We also get a look at a few more recoloured elements in the set:
  • Arm Mechanical Straight (Droid) [2 Clips at 90°] (59230) in Dark Pink
Once again, thecontainers don't disappoint as there is at least one more recoloured element in the uniquely-shaped pot:
  • Brick Round Corner 4 x 4 x 1 with Bottom Cut Outs, No Studs, Flat Top (5649) in Bright Light Blue

LEGO Botanicals sets are amongst our favourite sets here at New E., and we are eagerly awaiting the arrival these sets for a hands-on, pre-release review. We're also interested to see more lower-cost sets aimed at younger builders, which we will happily snap up too!

In the meantime, let us know your thoughts – and if we missed anything – in the comments below.

  1. I spy one more recolor/new part—the soil in the flowering cactus pot seems to use that new 2x2 quarter round plate in reddish brown (previously seen in warm gold in one of the upcoming Speed Champions sets). You can see it quite clearly in the partly disassembled pic, in the lower left!

  3. Very nice choice for a new color! The LEGO color palette had gone quite some time without any reddish orange or bluish violet colors (aside from transparent ones), so it's very nice to see both of those gaps now filled. I imagine licensed themes could make good use of it for stuff that the next nearest colors would have been too bluish or too purplish for. Hope we won't have to wait too long for basic bricks, plates, and tiles in this color!

That new "steering wheel" piece certainly looks interesting — though considering the number of "spokes", I was reminded less of a steering wheel and more of a smaller version of part 7068 introduced this year! Much like that part, I imagine this one will have a lot of utility as a way to attach creature/robot digits or appendages. Eager to see one of NE's talented writers/builders explore the possibilities it could offer once it's out in the wild!

Quite a few lovely leaf pieces recolored in white too! I feel like 7264 in particular could have a lot of utility for architectural ornamentation, such as on the pediments of a neoclassical building, and both it and 3565 could make great feathers for brick-built birds.

The droid arms in the cactus set look magenta (Bright Reddish Violet) to me rather than dark pink (Bright Purple), especially in that partially-assembled pic. But I definitely love seeing unconventional elements in bright colors like this and can definitely imagine it being put to good use in themes like Ninjago and Dreamzzz, not to mention space/sci-fi MOCs!
