June 2025 LEGO® Gifts with Purchase and 2x loyalty points

The final Gift with Purchase (GwP) for June 2025 is now available worldwide: LEGO® Creator 40758 Ferris Wheel with Fireworks.     This GwP was first spotted in New Zealand in January at LEGO certified stores but now becomes available globally, until 7 July or while stocks last.

    This dramatic model makes great use of a mere 230 pieces. There are no new or rare pieces in it, but it's a lovely selection of parts, including many desirable transparent pieces for the fireworks and a few pearl gold parts.

    Lego GwP 40766 Tribute to Jane Austen's Books


    As with earlier tributes like 40690 Tribute to Jules Verne's Books (see my review of GwP 40690), this takes the form of a book, fixed open, with a vignette inside containing references to the author and their work.

    None of the official pictures available show the rear of the model – the book cover – so if we manage to get hold of this GwP we will certainly review it more thoroughly for you.

    The official product description describes the set as an International Women’s Day celebration, however IWD falls on 8 March so I assume this must have been the original intention and the description was not updated.

    The minifigure comes with an exclusive tile of Austen's signature with an illustration of a quill and ink. Her torso is not new, it is Mrs Proudfoot's torso from 10354 The Lord of the Rings: The Shire.

    This is a gorgeous interior! The sweeping asymmetrical curtain is a charming and dramatic inclusion, the corner fireplace looks really cozy.

    The piano – a joy of Austen's life, and an important indicator of status within her novels – is likely based upon the Stodart Square piano she owned, still visible at the Jane Austen Museum in Chawton where she wrote most of her works. Two LEGO spoons make perfect pedals.

    Of course there is a generous bookshelf too, but less generous is the writing table; a 2x2 round jumper tile! However, Jane Austen's writing desk, on display at the museum is also small, albeit octagonal. I'm not sure if the wallpaper in that picture of the writing table is accurate to Austen's time, but if so, the light aqua bricks used in the LEGO model make a good representation.

    Surrounding the bookcase are three stickered tiles, depicting scenes from her novels – or rather, famous film adaptations of her novels. Do you know them all? I'm pleased to see another piano (or pianoforte as they were known then) in the background of one.

    40688 Trophy Award & 40689 Firework Celebration

    The Trophy GwP was available in both Australia and New Zealand from 9 June, but sold out prior to the end date of 15 June.

    However as of 13 June, Germany could get the Trophy as a special double-package GwP paired with Firework Celebration.

    Lego Trophy Cup and Fireworks GwP


    The trophy set has no rare parts of note, but the sticker sheet is pretty neat. It comes with stadium-shaped stickers saying CHAMPION, #1MUM, #1DAD, #1FRIEND and WELL DONE, and the square sticker at the base can be decorated with a winner's rosette, a picture of sports equipment, a treble clef or a games controller.

    The fireworks set is the same in that is has no rare parts aside from the exclusive sticker sheet of exploding fireworks. However, it is a far more desirable set with a wide range of colourful unusual small pieces, and two cute minifigures!

    The two sets make a somewhat odd pairing – beyond the fact that they both celebrate something, they're totally different!



    30687 Bluey Tea Party – Australia and New Zealand only

    How appropriate that this polybag was only available Down Under! Hopefully other countries will get an opportunity too.

    This is a very small polybag indeed, with many common elements, but the inclusion of a Bluey minifigure and Chattermax toy mean this will be hugely popular!

    Lego Friends 30697 Nova's Doghouse Build

     

    Nova is building a doghouse for Dango! There's a workbench with tools for Nova, and refreshments for the pup. The new ball of yarn element is present too. 


    There's actually a new recolour in this polybag: the Brick Arch 1 x 4 x 2 in Coral (6519696 | 6182). Seven of this element can also be found in set 42640 Guinea Pig Playground.

    Can it get any more iconic? This vignette model includes the famous couch, lamp, table with a desk lamp and phone, the rug, a remote control and Krusty Burger drink. The sailboat painting comes as a decorated tile, and on the TV screen is a Krusty Burger ad. You will need to add your own Simpsons minifigures as no minifigures are included. This is a bit sad, but given the GwP only comes with the Krusty Burger set, I guess no-one will be without?
