A new wedge is being introduced by LEGO – no, not a wedged element, but an Italian Wedge car!
Set 10337 Lamborghini Countach 5000 Quattrovalvole, designed by Sven Franic, delivers an exciting LEGO version of the supercar produced from 1974 to 1990.
This design classic is presented in sleek, elegant white.
You can't make a Countach model without including functioning scissor doors – it was the first production car to include them – so LEGO Icons do not disappoint us.
Other details include a detailed cockpit, working steering, trunk and rear hood, a detailed V12 engine, deep-dish rims, large taillights and a sleek rear spoiler.
The finished model measures 16 x 34 x 9 cm (6.5 x 13 x 3.5 inches).
New elements
Not one but three new moulds premiere in the Countach, one of which comes in two colours!
- Brick Sloped 1 x 4 x 1 with 1 x 2 x 1 / 3 Cutout in Dark Red and White
- Wheel 30.4 x 20 with 5 holes in Metallic Silver/ Flat Silver
- Brick Round Corner 4 x 4 x 1 with Bottom Cut Outs [No Studs Flat Top][1/4 Arch] in White
These are all exciting and useful moulds. We will delve into them properly in our upcoming review!
We've also spotted three recolours:
- Brick Special 1 x 2 Palisade [aka Log] in Dark Red
- Brick Special 1 x 4 Palisade [aka Log] in Dark Red
- Windscreen 1 x 14 x 6 Tapered in Trans-Black
