LEGO® Pick a Brick: May 2026 new elements

Posted by Admin

On 11 May 2026, some 950 new pieces from the hundreds of January 2026 sets were added to the LEGO® Pick a Brick (PaB) service which is available in Europe, the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

January is always a thrilling time for new moulds, and 2026 does not disappoint! There is much to enjoy including two surprising pieces: the sand blue bird without chest printing (shown above top left; the image is missing on the PaB site) which is not yet in any set, and the grey 4x4 triangular tile with no printing (above centre) which only appears in the May The Fourth set 75442 The Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter™.

New moulds

Because January brought so many new moulds, we've gone to extra special effort this month to make this additional list for you which shows only the 139 elements that are from new moulds.

  1. I've been reseting this website since 7 AM (8 hours) to check if this list came out

  2. Why there are no Chinese New Year suits and costumes?

    1. There were parts from those sets included last month, so perhaps they are not going to offer the ones you want :(

    2. I’ve also been waiting on the horse costume headpiece to be released, much like every other CNY costumed figure has been the last six years. Why not include it now?? Very disappointing.

  3. ****! None of the Creel House headprints are in there. All of the ones from the Upside Down set came to PAB. @Admin, do you remember whether that was later into the set's lifetime or right away (4 months after release)? I might need some Hopium...

    1. iirc that set is relatively old, PaB was indeed different then

    2. I looked it up, it's from 2019. It's true, we've experienced several PAB reforms since then. But in February, Krennic's head from the $1000 Death Star, as well as Motti's and Tagge's, was added to PAB,. So I don't understand at all why those are available, while the Stranger Things heads aren't going to be on PAB dspite the Creel House being much "cheaper" than the Death Star and most of the faces being much more generic than any of the Imperial Admirals. I really would like to know Lego's "logic" behind these decisions.

  4. I was hoping the Dreamzzz parts would be added as well. Does that mean the Nightmare Emperor headpiece is not coming to Pab?

    1. It would appear so. Was hoping the new Dreamzzz critters would be on PAB.

    2. I was also hoping for dreamzz minifigures parts but they decided to keep them for set only. Shame :(

    1. Thank you! - appears to be a duplicate ID from a 2025 set, and it's already on PaB so I have deleted it from our page.

  9. Thank you for this, NE. I imagine that by the time I get around to my annual PAB treat, maybe November if I'm lucky, many of the pieces that I'm looking at in this list will have gone, but there is such an embarrassment of riches here.
I tend to go for minifigure parts - last time (2024), I managed to get two complete Star Wars and Harry Potter figures, plus the casual Spider Queen from Monkie Kid - but I always enjoy seeing the bits that I would order if I were better at planning out MOCs.
I also enjoy seeing what licensed Duplo pieces have been added. I still find it astonishing that previous years have seen Spidey bricks and characters such as Green Goblin and Ms. Marvel. Those are way cheaper on the aftermarket, if anyone needs an embiggenfig of Ms Marvel.
I think this year, all being well, I'm going to have to get a couple of those Crazy 88 suit torsos for my Mister Negative Inner Demon customs, as well as a couple of skirt and torso pieces for other Spider-Man characters.
Thank you once again for these lists. PAB can be a bit of a faff when I want to cross-reference parts with Bricklink (sets, etc.), so I appreciate the work you've put in here.

    1. Thank you so much Matthew that is really sweet! I hope you can indeed order at that time, because that's traditionally when they remove thousands of elements and also reduce many prices.

  10. why is lego no longer selling parts for Ninjago and Dreamzzz figures (heads, torso, legs)

    1. As they are lego originals it is very likely that they want you to buy the sets vs just the parts, but who can say why they sometimes do and sometimes don’t put stuff on there.

    2. Lego might possibly think that collectors would only want one variant each, unlike for Space and Castle minifigs which collectors would use as army builders.

  11. There is a minifigure lower part (legs with boots) lost with the minifigure upper parts ! :-)

  12. Spacebaby heads with helmets but no body part. Will have to hope they might show up at a later date. Are these from some other recent non-space related set?

    1. They aren't space baby heads, as they have no airtanks and are a different shape. They come from the City "Rides" subtheme.
