Lego Pick a Brick sales halted in Canada and United States because of tariffs

The LEGO® Pick a Brick (PaB) individual element online ordering service has had a successful year in respects of new features and improvements, but a challenging time with the fulfilment of orders. Just as things seemed back on track, there's fresh woe for customers in the USA and Canada: today, thousands of Standard elements have been removed from sale, and it seems the root cause may be changes to tariffs imposed by the Trump administration.

Review: 42211 Lunar Outpost Moon Rover from LEGO® Technic

Posted by tobymac

Last year, LEGO® Technic released three playsets under a multi-theme-spanning Space banner. Another set was added to the lineup in August 2025; and where the previous sets explored Mars, we now stay (relatively) closer to home – with 42211 Lunar Outpost Moon Rover Space Vehicle.

My knowledge of the Fast & Furious franchise is about as good as my knowledge of cars – in other words, virtually non-existent. An analysis of a set's elements and techniques though? Now that I can do!

Let's take a look at 77241 2 Fast 2 Furious Honda S2000 – or as I call it: the pink one.

Review + MOCs: 31170 Pink Flamingo from LEGO® Creator

Posted by Eero

LEGO® Creator has been around for 25 years. I think that for most of this time, it has been a bit of a sleeper theme. There have been good sets every now and then, and some absolute classics during my childhood – 4508 Titan XP of 2004, for example. However, the coherence of design has bloomed during the last three or so years. Concurrently, the colour schemes of the sets have become bolder, resulting in more sweet recolours for us parts aficionados and MOC builders.

The flamingo and axolotyl from Lego Creator 3-in-1 set 31170, but their heads have been swapped, creating weird alien creatures

31170 Pink Flamingo is one of those sets. Therefore, I'm taking a look at not one but two copies of this set, running through its parts of interest and presenting two character MOCs inspired by its pieces.

Review: 42215 Volvo EC500 Hybrid Excavator from LEGO® Technic

Posted by tobymac

We’re digging into the August 2025 LEGO® Technic sets, starting with the massive 42215 Volvo EC500 Hybrid Excavator. Although this digger looks big, with 2359 parts it sits at number 18 on the list of biggest-ever LEGO Technic sets. Yet, according to Brickset, the RRP of US$429.99/ £349.99/ 399,99€/ AU$599.99 ranks it number 7 out of the most expensive LEGO Technic sets ever. Is that price warranted?
