About F1® The Movie
Potential new mould
Could this be a new mould? We noticed something that looks like a 2x2 rounded plate, in pearl gold. We've knocked up a version above right to show what it could look like.
Judging by other pictures, it can't be the existing 2x6 plate with rounded corners. We really hope this is the case, as this has long been a desired element!
Recolours
The New Elementary team spotted a few new recoloured elements in these images:
- Tiny Porsche bows in black and printed (7206 & 7205)
- Sports Ski 6L in pearl gold (28922)
- 1x2 curved slope in pearl gold (3563)
Printed elements
...a wrench that can also be used to apply stickers and separate bricks.

Since each Formula 1 team fields two drivers on the grid for each race, one T-cam will be plain black and the other will have a yellow marking to distinguish the cars. It seems this 1x2 ingot has a yellow decoration to depict the yellow on the T-cam.
Here's a closer look a the wider rear tyres, imprinted with the Pirelli and P ZERO logos.
Minifigures
The set includes two F1 driver minifigure characters from the movie: Sonny Hayes and Joshua Pearce, each with individual helmets featuring their signature.

"We've knocked up a version above right to show what it could look like."
ReplyDeletedid you mean to say *mocked* up...?
Nope. Collins dictionary:
Delete"If you knock something up, you make it or build it very quickly, using whatever materials are available.
[informal]"
If you wanna know what that part *already* looks like, search for 26601W on Aliexpress. 2x2 quarter disk by Wange.
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, LEGO keeps destroying imported packages from those same brands they're stealing from, because of patents.
I don't think I'll search for that but thanks for the comment. I'm not really a Wange fan.
DeleteOh it was just to say who made it. Of course the part is unbranded. Perhaps LEGO's version will have a different underside, though. But other than that, there's not much room for differences.
