On Monday 27 April 2026, LEGO® Pick a Brick will be making their Create a Minifigure online service available throughout European and North American LEGO.com sites, and it will be almost identical to the existing UK beta version.
This article contains affiliate links to LEGO.com; we may get a small commission if you purchase.
Unfortunately there are no plans to expand further in 2026 to include Australia and New Zealand, but there may be in future.
The service has been available as a beta in the UK for just over a year now, and is optimised for mobile use. Try it out there if you can't wait until Monday to have a play! Of course, only UK-based customers can actually purchase from that version.
There will be one important difference when it launches on Monday though: rather than charging a service fee, instead there will be a minimum order of 5 minifigures in order to checkout. The maximum is 40 minifigures in one order. Currently there are no exclusive parts or flesh-toned pieces; effectively the service is an interface to build minifigures using existing Pick a Brick stock.
If you want to know more or have other questions about the service, first check out our article announcing the UK beta version going live a year ago.
Advance notice about new elements on Pick a Brick in May 2026
A very exciting update is coming to the Pick a Brick loose pieces service in May – over 900 new elements from January 2026 sets will be added for purchase! However, it is coming later than usual.
Because of the size of this drop, the team need more time to ensure stock is in place. Here are the key dates:
- Tuesday 5 May: We will share the list of new pieces so you can plan your purchases in advance
- Monday 11 May: LEGO Pick a Brick will commence adding the elements for purchase. This begins in the morning UK time and might take most of the day
Too excited? Can't wait? You can peruse our list of every new LEGO piece released in January 2026, but be aware that about 500 of them will not be added, certainly not any "IP-locked" pieces made for specific intellectual properties like Star Wars etc.

Epic, I've wanted some of the band members from Shopping street in time for June show, Thanks for the heads up!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for the new PAB pieces. But IP-locked is a bit wonky now since they added the Motti/Tagge/Krennic heads from the Death Slice to PAB in February. Also, some minifig parts from the Onyx Cinder set were available in 2024. I hope the new Build-A-Minifig thing will not affect the availability of flesh coloured heads in general on PAB?
ReplyDeleteIt's not totally uncommon for faces in licensed themes (in particular human characters without IP-specific makeup or props) to not be IP-locked, as can be seen when the occasional face is reused between unrelated licensed themes. Just as an example, Peter Parker and Mary Jane from last year's set 76317 Peter Parker's Apartment use faces that debuted back in 2017 in a Pirates of the Caribbean set, and have gone on to be reused in Harry Potter, Star Wars, Jurassic World, and more.
DeleteThat makes sense… Thank you! Now I hope that the more "normal" heads from the Stranger Things Creel House come to PAB in May. Although I wouldn't say no to Vecna, the one I want/need most is Max's.
