Review: 10373 Mini Bonsai Trees from LEGO® Botanicals

Posted by Thomas Jenkins

LEGO® Botanicals are going back to their roots with 10373 Mini Bonsai Trees, available from midnight tonight. The subtheme first sprouted within the LEGO® Icons line four years ago with the fan-favourite 10281 Bonsai Tree, and it’s been blooming ever since. Now a thriving line of its own with multiple highly anticipated releases each year, it continues to produce some of The LEGO Group's most interesting and popular models.

This latest set offers a charming trio of miniature trees—ginkgo, black pine, and wisteria—each showcasing the design ingenuity and clever parts usage that made the theme so beloved. Let’s take a closer look and see just how much the LEGO Botanicals have grown.

Posted by tobymac

August is very near, bringing us five additions to the LEGO® Technic 2025 lineup. The new arrivals are a nice mix: we are treated to two standard cars in 42212 Ferrari FXX K and 42213 Ford Bronco SUV; a remote-controlled vehicle 42214 Lamborghini Revuelto Super Sports Car; a trip to the moon with 42211 Lunar Outpost Moon Rover Space Vehicle; and we move mountains with the massive 42215 Volvo EC500 Hybrid Excavator

This variety of models is bound to bring a variety of new elements as well. I’ve counted 49 elements worth a closer look, so let's get started.

Clip-based LEGO® Pythagorean triangles: Escaping the grid

Posted by Admin

In an unexpected bonus addition to his Escaping the Grid series of LEGO® technique articles, brick scholar Arno Knobbe (@legoarno on Instagram) returns to tie up some loose ends. The great potential of Pythagorean triangles was demonstrated in Arno’s last article, but outside the plane, things turn out to work slightly differently. This time, no new math will be introduced (thank goodness!), so no need to pull out your scientific calculator. But an abacus might come in handy.

LEGO® Pick a Brick: Testing of colour grouping underway

Posted by Admin

Screengrab of Lego.com pick a brick. Each element has a few colour swatches below it, and numbers in brackets to indicate if there are more colours than those shown.

As we reported back in February, the LEGO® Pick a Brick development team have been planning a new way to display pieces on the service so that it is much simpler to see all available colours of a part. This new user interface is now being tested in a limited number of countries, and the team are looking for your feedback to help decide whether or not to return to the previous format.

Review and MOCs: 76328 The Classic TV Series Batmobile™ from LEGO® Batman™

Posted by Kev Levell

Superman hit the movie theatres last week. As a child he was my favourite superhero so I'm pleased that we have a less gritty cinematic version of the comics' legend incoming. Disappointingly, there will be no LEGO® Superman sets, so instead, I have taken a look at one of my other childhood favourite crime-fighting superheroes: Batman™!

Back in October last year, 76328 Batman™: The Classic TV Series Batmobile™ was released and as soon as I saw the initial reveal pictures, I wanted to investigate the set and its new windscreens.

Review: 10357 Shelby Cobra 427 S/C from LEGO® Icons

Posted by Zachary Hill

A balance between a big engine and a lightweight chassis is the recipe for a nimble race car. Racer-turned-engineer Carroll Shelby and his team took those ingredients, wrapped them in British style, and the Shelby Cobra roared to life. LEGO® Icons pay homage to one of the most legendary cars in American motorsport with set 10357 Shelby Cobra 427 S/C.

The roadster's body reveals new curvaceous LEGO moulds which make its accurate shape possible, but even further improvements to LEGO colour formulations ensure consistency too. Read on to see all the new pieces and improvements to dark blue elements, from bumper-to-bumper.

Tile Special 2 x 2 with Ring (6805) from LEGO® Classic

Posted by Elspeth De Montes

We spotted a new mould that, at time of writing, can only found in two LEGO® Classic sets from January 2025: 11042 Creative Happy Box and 11040 Magical Transparent Box.

Many views of Lego piece Tile, Modified 2 x 2 with Ring (part 6805)

It's a 2x2 tile with a vertical ring, and seems to be a way to hang models in the two classic sets. We are sure it offers more creative possibilities than that, so let's set the New Elementary Hive Mind to work and take a closer look.

Review: 76973 Raptor & Titanosaurus Tracking Mission from LEGO® Jurassic World™

Posted by Kev Levell
Welcome to the final review in our LEGO® Jurassic World™ Rebirth June 2025 coverage. As has been the case with preceding sets in the theme, each set in this latest wave has been defined by the dinosaurs featured in it. This set has got a big one; the biggest dinosaur made by The LEGO Group to date, I believe.
