Jumping straight to the build of this sleek, meter-long aircraft was very tempting, however, LEGO® Icons 10318 Concorde comes with two exclusive new curved pieces and a brand new slope, so a closer look at these amazing elements, with some insight from the LEGO element design team, must come first!

LEGO® BrickHeadz™ Sonic review: sets 40627 & 40628, and part 4304
At first glance, they appear to be just another addition in the long lineup of Brickheadz sets, but inside both characters, element fans find an interesting surprise.

LEGO® parts 73763, 73764 & 3863: A worm gear family
Earlier this year LEGO® City 60372 Police Training Academy introduced a new type of worm gear; Technic Worm Gear 6M with Axle Hole in Light Bluish Gray and the accompanying Brick Special 2 x 2 x 1 2/3 with Worm Gear in Black. I always love to see LEGO® Technic parts appear in ‘regular’ sets, so I think a closer look is warranted.
But what is that kitty doing there?

LEGO® part 4190: The Pagoda Plate
I love a good LEGO roof technique. I’ve built a few in my time as a New E. contributor including shrines, fishmongers, and Hobbit holes. So, if you’re anything like me, you’ll love this exciting new LEGO element! Join me as I take a closer look.

LEGO® Friends review + MOCs: 41759 Heartlake City Bus
Beginning our look at the June 2023 wave of LEGO® Friends sets, 41759 Heartlake City Bus offers a modest range of new and recoloured elements. Today I'll be discussing them all, as well as the build itself and some MOCs I made inspired by the new moulds.

LEGO® part 3172: Plate Special 1 x 2 with Pin Hole On Side
Plate Special 1 x 2 with Pin Hole On Side (Design ID 3172; not to be confused with set number 3172 which is well worth a search if you need a laugh) is an intriguing addition to the LEGO® parts inventory. It slots neatly into the existing family of plates with a Technic hole, but what can it do that its older siblings can’t? Today the New E team and I aim to find out, using eye candy – I mean, tablescraps!

Old Elementary: Cannon Fodder - parts 84943 & 2527 analysis and MOCs
In 1989 LEGO® took to the high seas with their first wave of pirate-themed sets. Shooting Cannon (84943) and Cannon Base 2x4 (2527) were quite literally flagship elements for the theme, and they’ve been a mainstay of the LEGO parts inventory ever since. But is there more to these parts than meets the eye-patch? Today it's my task to find out.

LEGO® NINJAGO® Spinjitzu review: Rise of the Tri-Baller
Spinjitzu has been practiced from the very start of the LEGO® NINJAGO® theme. Over the years, many different iterations have been released in sets, and the June 2023 wave adds a new version: Dragon Power Spinjitzu. Three ninja each get their own set: 71777 Kai’s Dragon Power Spinjitzu Flip with 72 parts, 71778 Nya's Dragon Power Spinjitzu Drift with 57 parts and 71779 Lloyd's Dragon Power Spinjitzu Spin with 56 parts.
These small sets include a nice new mould. But before we take a look at that, I’ll have a quick look at the sets themselves and the other elements found in them.

Old Elementary: 6931 FX Star Patroller set review and MOCs
As time progresses, it feels as if the prices of LEGO® Classic Space sets are flying out of my reach; certainly the boxed examples in good condition. I know some of the gaps in my collection may now never be filled (and that’s fine, because being completist is a fool’s errand), however there’s always the odd occasion when the Classic Space Moon aligns with a healthier bank balance and I do manage to acquire a long hankered-after gem.

LEGO® DOTS 41957 Adhesive Patches Mega Pack review + MOC with part 80319
Glue and LEGO® bricks? 41957 Adhesive Patches Mega Pack brings this unholy combination to customers. Of course, we at New Elementary don't limit ourselves to adhering these patches to notebooks and folders. What have they to offer to MOC builders?

As the Chief Flight Director of this exploration it falls to me to bring our mission to an end. The team has safely returned home, I've completed their debriefing, and once I present my findings I'll round out these proceedings with a few words of thanks.

Space Tools Parts Fest: Ryan Harkin
The second of our two Glorious Galactic Guests joins our Parts Festival today to present some wonderful MOCs using a selection of the minifigure accessories found in Classic Space sets. Ryan Harkin is @brickmasterryan on Instagram.
New Elementary asked me to build something “not space” using a couple of the Classic Space tools from their seed selection. I chose the Axe (3835) and the Robot Arm (4735). Like Benny, my instant reaction was, “Spaceship?”. My next reaction was… well, I’m guessing you’ve seen the movie so you know how this ends.

In the first part of New Elementary's Cloth Fest, Áron Gerencsér - now a set designer, congrats Áron! - dived deep into the history of cloth parts in LEGO® sets. In this final part, I'll have a look at the connections of these parts, also presenting three new MOCs that use them as, well, clothing.

The Glow Demon: Si-MOCs vs. Monkie Kid
Simon Liu (@si_mocs) returns as our guest builder today! A stalwart of LEGO® fan communities both in Canada and online, we knew Si would just love to take on another MOCcing challenge. Products in this article were provided by LEGO®; the author's opinions are their own.
For my previous New Elementary guest article, I had the ‘privilege’ of reviewing 31200 LEGO® Art The Sith mosaic set, which was chosen for me. Much like the Iron Builder contest I help to run, the set offered pretty specific pieces to work with: about 3000 Plate Round 1 x 1. This time around, perhaps having proved myself a bit, I got to choose the set I would build MOCs out of. So I went off looking at sets that had an abundance of ‘interesting’ pieces.
One thing I’ve always loved working into my builds are LEGO pieces that are reactive to ultraviolet light. This gives MOCs that extra sci-fi feel, and there was only one set at the time that included a bunch of White Glow (aka Glow in the Dark) elements: LEGO Monkie Kid 80028 The Bone Demon.
