Multitouch screens like the ones the app bricks work with are made to be touched by things like fingers and styluses, and these app bricks shouldn't be any more damaging than those.

These aren't the first such toys made for integrating with touch screens, either. Mattel has their own versions, called "Apptivity" toys. Lego's high standard of quality should ensure that these app bricks are even safer for screens than those.Andrew Barnickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11723179808721244651noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-276033407505619194.post-23565042358937364962015-05-28T22:29:34.049+01:002015-05-28T22:29:34.049+01:00I just thought of a potential problem with the app...I just thought of a potential problem with the app bricks. If, as Jeremy said, you have to "twist and spin" the bricks to activate the computer, would the bricks not scratch some types of screens? Or am I just missing something?
--Chaz FairbanksAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-276033407505619194.post-5321615750770900722015-05-25T15:04:54.100+01:002015-05-25T15:04:54.100+01:00I've only been following the New Elementary fo...I've only been following the New Elementary for a couple months, but I'm already a steadfast fan. Have you ever thought about formatting your part and color references (e.g. "(Design ID 18946 | Element ID 6100930)") in a more subtle font to prevent them from interrupting the narrative?ALittleSlowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12058345126514351689noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-276033407505619194.post-17702650504446790742015-05-25T14:32:10.320+01:002015-05-25T14:32:10.320+01:00I love Ultra Agents! We have seen many times that they develop an in-house theme that is very similar to an upcoming movie or something, and if it is received well, a few years later they get the license. I prefer non-licensed themes because they are lot more creative, but it just made me wonder... theBrickBloggerhttp://thebrickblogger.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-276033407505619194.post-16397859003469600562015-05-25T08:25:31.175+01:002015-05-25T08:25:31.175+01:00I have all the agents set so far inc 70170 and the...I have all the agents set so far inc 70170 and they look epic all grouped together. They're basic enough that they could be used in other themes in the future. And the fact that their conductivity and placement are the only key factors in how they function with apps means that once you have four, you can conceivably use them for anything in the Ultra Agents app—and what's more, because there's no electronic components involved, it should be easy for fans to develop "homebrew" software for touchscreen devices utilizing those bricks.Andrew Barnickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11723179808721244651noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-276033407505619194.post-32047304285069992352015-05-24T21:55:18.336+01:002015-05-24T21:55:18.336+01:00This is a good review but could use some more pics...This is a good review but could use some more pics of the new parts and copter. I like this, but mainly because of Antimatter and the new Agent Phoenix.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
