We have some comments on the subject from Jamie Berard in the parts review for this set:
https://www.newelementary.com/2022/12/lego-icons-10312-jazz-club-new-parts-in.html#:~:text=%22In%20a%20Modular,of%20the%20buildings.%22

In short, he hopes the hairstyles included let Black builders identify with some of the minifigures. Replacing yellow minifigs with only natural skin tones might be controversial as well, but I'd be in favor of it personally.Zachary Hillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04080820742830637643noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-276033407505619194.post-53996466702052218442023-01-16T20:20:38.526+00:002023-01-16T20:20:38.526+00:00Jazz club and not a single African-American)))Jazz club and not a single African-American)))ZURNhttps://zurn.runoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-276033407505619194.post-49943573012115337282023-01-05T09:22:07.189+00:002023-01-05T09:22:07.189+00:00Fixed, thanks for spotting!Fixed, thanks for spotting!Adminhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05188856208086872634noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-276033407505619194.post-58831810692230591762023-01-01T02:12:20.974+00:002023-01-01T02:12:20.974+00:00199.99€? Buildings less than 20 studs wide tend to look awkwardly crammed to me, and the pizzeria is no exception. I'm tempted to extend it with the help of, say, parts from Heartlake city restaurant, but shouldn't have the time to try anytime soon.

Anyway, when building only with the parts in this set, is there any obstacle to building a mirrored version of it (Pizzeria left, jazz club right)?Arne Bnoreply@blogger.com
