2019 Parts Fest #2: Oscar Cederwall's Clips and Crustacean

Posted by Admin
Today Oscar Cederwall returns to our Parts Festival, following his first post of geometric explorations, to present more fun and clever uses for our selection of new LEGO® elements.

The Shepherd's Staff

Sadly, Bo Peep's crook (Tool, No. 10 in Medium Azure – 49492 | 6256157) loses its clutch power on the curved hook part, so it can't be used with clips. It works great as antennae though. Here is some made-up crustacean.

Frozone's 4x4 Tile

Plate 4X4, Circle, W/ 2 Knobs ( 32627 |6250188), which is Frozone's CMF stand, is indeed a tile with a groove around the edge. Which should make it "legal" to attach clips to it.

And then this happened:

This is just an example of what you could build using this technique.

The 3x3 dome

There aren't that many 3x3 round parts so this dome is a welcome addition. It makes it possible to build cylinder shaped tanks with the engine-part... or a sub.

  1. The sub was a great idea - that's the first dome that fits the engine part, right?
