Bow 1X1X2/3". It's like my favorite new piece (Maybe favorite piece altogether). You can find it in the Star wars "Corporate Alliance Tank Droid" and a few other sets. It's a really nice piece.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-276033407505619194.post-55894502128616553082013-07-01T11:03:26.405+01:002013-07-01T11:03:26.405+01:00Ah - thank you so much for bringing that to my att...Ah - thank you so much for bringing that to my attention Jonathan, I'm going to fix this post. And buy that set!!!

This is a classic example of how tricky research is and how I will need to depend on my readers to help, just as you have. That black element is not listed in LEGO's online inventory for that set (this is quite common but I have no idea why it happens) plus Bricklink's inventory came out just after I had done my research for this post.

Completely agree re Black being more useful than Olive! But as you'll read soon, I've had some fun with the Olive ones.Adminhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05188856208086872634noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-276033407505619194.post-50679279113700147562013-06-30T06:20:59.025+01:002013-06-30T06:20:59.025+01:00The new 1x4x1 Inverted Bow also exists in black in...The new 1x4x1 Inverted Bow also exists in black in the new 60026 City Town Square. The set includes 8 of them used in the construction of the crane. (I have the 8 in black from one copy of that set sitting in my "to be sorted" box right now so I can confirm that they DO exist in black :)

Black is so much more useful to me than olive green :)
Jonathan Wilsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17312603931099975568noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-276033407505619194.post-5249241223228563692013-06-29T15:48:39.786+01:002013-06-29T15:48:39.786+01:00Good point. Let's hope the part price comes down as a result.

I'm desperate for the Gothic arches too! Unfortunately I only have two so far but will definitely be posting when I have more. You'd think that element would have been easily in a few dozen sets since the late 80s - early 90s. And you'd be very wrong.

Hopefully we will see more of it in the future.

(I hope you will be dedicating a notion to the new gothic half-arch too? I've been waiting for that part for so long...)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
